CHIC-A-BOOM ...
~an eccentric woman with extraordinarily memorable, often misunderstood but unmistakably distinctive style.

"It is my intent to showcase that which I consider wearable art.
Clothing that is whimsical, dramatic, avant-garde and on the
cutting edge of design - as seen through my eyes.
Brilliance and madness are interchangeable.
This is my style inspiration. I invite you into my world."

NATASHA POLY FOR MUSE MAGAZINE

Model: Natasha Poly

In this photo shoot for Muse Magazine, Natasha Poly morphs into an unrecognizable other-worldly siren.

An inspired headdress of leather and pony hair, a deliciously structural, ornamented jacket.
A perfect outfit for a girl like me.

Geisha meets Bullfighter -
Studded leather with chain collar

Chain collar detail

This is such a great photograph...
white face enveloped in black rolled hair and theatrical costume.
My favorite part... the whip fingered gloves.

This jacked of looped yarn is the mastery
of artistic knitting.

Light and dark, hard and soft... the beauty of opposites.

Designer Yiqing Yin's dream collection - EXILE

She is Chinese, beautiful and a very talented young designer. Her name is Yiqing Yin, which means "after a storm comes calm." At the age of four, Yin fled Beijing for France with her stowaway parents, her father having supported the Tiananmen student protest movement. She studied art and fashion at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs, and also at la Chambre syndicale de la Haute couture and the London College of Fashion. In 2010, Yin was awarded the City of Paris's Grand Prize for Design, and was also involved in the final of the International Festival of Hyeres. She was 25.

Yiqing Yin graduated at Arts Decoratifs School in Paris, establishing herself with the visionare force and the stylistic perfection of her dresses, realized using just one piece of fabric magically pleated, draped and molded on the body.
